Dialog: <object> Permissions

Function: The dialog shows the users, groups, and roles that have access to the <object>. In the dialog, additional users, groups, and roles can be added, and existing users, groups, and roles can be removed.

In the dialog, an additional role (and with it additional permissions) can be granted to a user, group, or role. Moreover, the permission can be granted to a user, group, or role in order for themselves to grant permissions to the object. A user cannot grant a higher role than its own role.

Search	Input field for a search string in order to find a specific user, group, or role
Add	Adds the user, group, or role specified in the Search field to the list
Name	Name of the user, group, or role
Permission Type	User: The user has the permissions for the object according to the granted role. Role: All users with this role have access to the object. Group: All members of this group have access. As a result, each group member has the permissions according to the user role.
Can Permit	: Users, groups, and roles must not grant permissions to other users, groups, and roles for access to the <object>. This is the default setting. : Users, groups, and roles are permitted to grant permissions to other users, groups, and roles for access to the <object>.
Additional Role	List box with the roles which can also be granted to the user, group, or role.
	The corresponding user, group, or role is removed from the list and therefore no longer has access to the <object>.
